Owen Paulls

Owen Paulls is an English black and grey artist currently working in Seattle. He has spent a 12 year tattoo career building up his knowledge of tattoo and painting techniques, with the aim of achieving an individual style.

Best known for his animation and highly detailed realistic tattoos, Owen has compiled his favorite lessons from both areas to produce his unique black and grey tattoos.

This two hour talk will showcase Owen’s tattooing methods and a range of textures/shading you can use to create a higher depth of field in your tattoos.

Owen will cover set ups, machine speeds, design elements and knowledge derived from painting techniques to best achieve depth in the design and tattoo.
